Our Fuels

Yosemite Fuels produces sustainable biofuels from forests, farms, and other renewable H2 sources that are carbon-negative, meeting California's renewable H2 procurement requirements outlined by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) in the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). As per state mandates, 33% of current procurement must be renewable H2, with future targets aiming for 60% renewable H2.

Our H2 is primarily sold as gaseous H2, with provisions for liquid H2 upon customer request. We ensure compliance with SJ2719 for fuel cell applications and provide certified analytical reporting for every H2 load delivered to customers. Yosemite Fuels offers customizable delivery modules and schedules to meet customer specifications, including a "drop-and-swap" delivery method utilizing on-site storage trailers to minimize end-user compression costs. We also offer cascade fill solutions to further reduce costs.

H2 delivery services range from small-scale applications, such as H2 fuel cell vehicles, to industrial-scale operations for heavy-duty truck stops and other mobility applications, including municipal fleets and rail systems. Our delivery capabilities range from 100 kg H2 bumper-pulled trailers for small HRS applications to 780 kg  H2 per trailer applications. Yosemite Fuels collaborates with affiliates to explore cost-effective H2 transport solutions, with ongoing efforts to pass these savings on to our customers. In 2023, Yosemite led a Sustainable Markets Initiative Hydrogen Task Force white paper on various H2 transport and storage methods, highlighting ongoing innovations in the field Sustainable Markets Initiative Hydrogen Task Force.
